About Sole to Sole

A trusted name in Edgeley, Stockport — where traditional craftsmanship meets modern precision.

Craftsmanship That Runs in the Family

Sole to Sole is a locally owned workshop built on generations of skill.

I took over from my father, who ran the same shop right here in Edgeley since the mid-1990s.

After more than two decades working in the trade myself, I still carry out the work personally — combining traditional skills with today’s specialist equipment.

What hasn’t changed is our promise: every key, shoe, and engraving is handled with care and pride.

It’s the same honest service that’s kept customers returning from Stockport, Cheadle, Bramhall and beyond.

Whether you come for a quick heel fix, a complex key cut, or a delicate engraving, you’ll always speak directly with the person who does the work — no middlemen, no call centres, just experience and trust.

Built On Local Heritage

The shop has been part of Edgeley’s high street for decades — long enough to appear in a few old black-and-white photographs of the area.  The name has changed over the years from "Bostock" to our current name of "Sole to Sole" but our quality of work is the reason we're still around.

Generations of families have trusted us with their keys, shoes and keepsakes — and that history shapes how every job is still done today.
